Established in 2015, Legal Aliens was created as a response to the lacking female representation in the sydney hardcore and punk scenes. The girls were heavily influenced by the feminist ethos of the 90s riot grrrl movement, however influences to their sound can be contributed to The Beastie Boys harcore e.p Aglio E Olio and Bad Brains. Songs are politically focused with an energetic delivery.
